Located in the metropolis of Milan, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, Rudy Profumi has been a family-owned business for over 100 years. Founded in 1920, by Spiridione Calabrese, today, the Calabrese family carries on with the same love, dedication and attention-to-detail.

Spiridione Calabrese began his journey preparing hair dyes in his small hair salon in Milan. He sold the business to his brother in 1914. He then began experimenting with cosmetics and started Rudy Profumi in 1920. 

Eventually, Spiridione’s son, Antonio, took over the management responsibilities and began developing perfume lines. He focused on designing lines with spectacular packaging that encompassed aesthetics and essence.

Today, Antonio’s three children are at the helm of the family business. They celebrate and honor their heritage, by carrying on the values of their grandfather.
