Located in the historic city of Rome, in the Lazio region of central Italy, Officina delle Essenze was founded in 2001 by Maurizio Lembo and continues to be family-owned.

Maurizio was inspired by his father who in the 1950s operated a luxury perfume shop in Rome. As a boy, Maurizio worked in the shop and was inspired by his father’s passion for fragrance. In 1987, in his 20s, Maurizio began working in a perfumery in Rome, to study and experiment with the creation of his own unique fragrances.

In 2001, Maurizio launched his own company with home fragrance and perfume lines.

Officina delle Essenze is a synonym for craftsmanship and luxury. The company prides itself on the use of natural raw materials of the highest quality to create fragrances rich and pure.
